Timberline Wildlife Services was founded by DJ Johnson, a lifelong outdoorsman with over 25 years of hands-on experience in wildlife management and nuisance animal control. Long before this became a business, it was a way of life David grew up exploring the woods, fields, and waterways of Indiana, developing a deep respect for wildlife and a sharp understanding of animal behavior that simply can’t be taught in a classroom.
That real-world knowledge is what sets Timberline Wildlife Services apart. We are not just trappers – we’re conservationists, problem-solvers, and neighbors who care about doing the job right.
Since earning our Nuisance Wildlife Operators License from the State of Indiana as well as holding our DNR permit with the state of Indiana, Timberline Wildlife Services has grown into a trusted name for commercial, industrial, municipal, and large residential clients across the region – including HOAs, property management groups, farms, and even ranches.

Owner
With over 25 years of experience in wildlife management, David (DJ) founded Timberline Wildlife Services to bring honest, reliable nuisance wildlife solutions to homeowners and businesses across the Indianapolis area. A lifelong outdoorsman, he built his knowledge of local wildlife behavior through decades spent in the field long before he ever turned it into a career.
Licensed by the Indiana DNR and fully insured, DJ has grown Timberline Wildlife Services from the ground up on a simple foundation: hard work, honesty, and treating every property like it’s his own. When you call Timberline, you’re not getting a call center – you’re getting seasoned professionals who genuinely care about doing the job right.
Jordyn Johnson
Operations
Jordyn is DJ’s oldest daughter and Timberline’s Operations lead, bringing 6+ years of experience in marketing, content strategy, and media to help expand the business into new markets across Indiana.
She grew up tagging along to check traps with her dad, introduced to wildlife management at a young age – and that hands-on foundation now shapes how she approaches growing Timberline: with the same honesty, reliability, and attention to detail the company has been built on for over 25 years. Her focus is simple – helping more homes and businesses discover the same trusted service Timberline has always delivered.
